Foundation Dermal Fillers Theory & Practical Combined
Dermal fillers are small injections of gel, typically made up of hylauronic acid, that fill in wrinkles and add volume to soft tissue. You can have dermal fillers in different parts of your face: around the eye, cheeks, mouth and jawline, as well as lip fillers administered directly into the lip tissue.
The theory regarding advanced courses like Dermal Filler injections is extensive and requires many hours home study before attending the practical course, based in Newton Abbot Devon. The pre-requisites for this course is that you need a Level 4 Anatomy & Physiology qualification however if you do not already possess it then we are happy to provide you with this course free of charge. If you buy the combined package, you will also receive a dealing with complications course absolutely free.
The theory part of the course is all online and all self study, we envisage it will take you at least 15 hours to be at the satisfactory knowledge level in order to carry out the practical day. There will also be a comprehensive exam on the practical day prior to carrying out the treatments to ensure that you have adequately learned the theory. Once purchased, you will receive access to a folder with all of the theory information as well as coursework that you need to complete and submit to us. Once that coursework has been completed to a high standard, you will then be able to book the practical day where you will be shown a live demonstration and then you will carry out the procedure on a model.
The practical days will be able to book from December 2020 and you will have a deadline of 6 months after completing the theory to book and complete the practical training. After this day, you will need to complete further case studies in order to achieve the full foundation qualification.
This course is fully accredited worldwide and insurable by Train You Accreditation. We offer 6 months aftercare support after completion. All courses are non refundable. It is your responsibility to ensure you are able to gain insurance as some companies have further requirements. We can recommend some that may be able to assist you but all of them have their own requirements.
